Photoshop Elements: How to copy a layer to another composition or photo

Right-click on the layer you want to copy. Click Duplicate Layers. The dialog box opens up. Chose the name of the new composition you want to send the duplicated layer to under Documents: “Name of New composition.” Click okay and the layer is sent.
