Has someone reminded you lately that you are a leader?
Whether you are a mother, father, school teacher, or CEO, it’s important to remember that you are a leader. That’s the privilege that has been given to us by Life.
Here is a little responsibility to tutor the privilege.
A leader must not be argumentative, but must be a gentle listener and a teacher who keeps cool, working slowly but surely with those who don’t see things the way he does.
Who knows? Perhaps they might sober up, change their minds and allow their hearts to embrace the truth you’ve been preaching all along.
Whether it’s with your kids or employees, people will respect you more as a leader when you are patient with them and not argumentative. They will love you more when you take the time to listen and stay cool under fire.
What can you do today to be a less argumentative person and a better listener in your family, social network, and workplace?
