This John Piper video/podcast is worth sharing. Watch it and remember to consider why I often teach that when we are faced with a situation when our carefully and prayerfully considered plans are not working–things turning out the opposite of what we anticipated, the first question we should ask is: God, what are you teaching me through all this? What do you want me to learn from this, and how do you want me to grow? That question must rest on a solid foundation that God loves us, and everything he does for his glory is intended for our good as well.
My best quote from watching it is what I have used as the title of this blog, “Frustrating human efficiency is one of God’s primary (I say primary, not secondary) means of sanctifying grace.” John Piper
