Dr. Kenneth Acha, MD, DMin, DAAFP
Dr. Acha is the president of SU, the chair of the Department of Orphans and Vulnerable Children, and the founder and president of the Kenneth Acha Foundation. He is also a full-time board-certified Family Medicine specialist and former assistant professor of clinical medicine based in California, USA. He blogs on Life, Work, and Leadership on the Servants University blog. Dr. Acha was born and raised in Cameroon, West Africa, where he grew up as an underprivileged child after his father died. After coming to the U.S., he trained as a medical doctor at Texas A&M College of Medicine in Texas. Dr. Acha also holds a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation and a Master of Arts degree in Evangelism and Church Planting from Liberty University. Dr. Jennifer Turley, PhD
Jennifer Turley, PhD, is a distinguished professor of nutrition. She received a doctorate degree in nutrition science from the University of Texas-Austin and a baccalaureate degree in nutrition from Arizona State University. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute and later trained to become a master online teacher. Throughout her extensive career, Dr. Turley has established herself as an innovative educator, transformative academic leader, valuable mentor, adept scholar, public speaker, and credible scientist. Dr. Todd Bordow, DMin.
Dr. Bordow is the pastor of a church in Rio Rancho, NM, and has been in the gospel ministry for over 25 years. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Arizona College of the Bible, his M.DIV from Westminster Seminary in California, and his Doctor of Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. He is passionate about helping people understand how all the scriptures point to Jesus Christ and his work for us.
Dr. Ed Roller, DMin.
Dr. Roller is the pastor of a church in Indiana and has been involved in ministry work since the early 70s. He received two Bachelor’s degrees, one from Heritage University and the other from Indiana University, where he also received a professional teaching license in psychology, sociology, and government. He did his Masters level study at Butler University and the Bible Way University of New England. He has finished his formal education at the Open Bible Seminary in Greenville, SC with his Doctorate in Ministry. He considers himself a simple Bible teacher, and he loves to read and study God’s Word and share it with others. He has a passion for working with young people and is dedicated to their success in ministry.
Matt Brennan, MDiv
Matt Brennan is a disciple of Jesus, husband, father, teacher, and pastor. He lives in the mountains of Conifer, Colorado, with his wife Sarah and their four children. Matt has a Masters of Divinity in Theology and has been in pastoral ministry for over 20 years. He and his family are actively involved in the adoption and foster care community, having adopted two daughters and fostered four others.
Matt enjoys the outdoors, new adventures, old books, mountains, and Jeeps. He also loves dinner conversations with friends around long wooden tables, good coffee, and biblical archaeology. As an instructor at Servants University, Matt teaches disciplemaking and spiritual formation, helping students live their faith in practical ways in their daily life. He is passionate about guiding followers of Jesus Christ through the process of discipleship and helping them better understand the way of Jesus Christ and their God-given purpose.
Pastor Shannon Cockrell, MDiv
Shannon Cockrell, an ordained minister, lives in Indianapolis, IN, with his wife and two children, where he serves as a Stephens’s Minister at his local church. He has a B.A. in Pre-Seminary and Pastoral Theology from Crossroads Bible College, where he graduated Magnum Cum Laude and minored in Greek and Expository Preaching. He received his Master of Divinity in Theological Studies from Liberty Theological Seminary. Shannon has served for 3 years as an associate pastor at a church in Indianapolis and has spoken at multiple seminars about Bible study methods and effective Bible teaching. He is passionate about God’s Word and loves teaching the Bible in fun and effective ways.
Pastor Matt Green, MDiv
Matt Green was born and raised in Georgia but now resides in Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology from Lee University in Cleveland, TN, and a Master of Divinity from Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, TX. He is married and has three beautiful daughters. Matt has been in full-time ministry for over 10 years, serving as a youth pastor and associate pastor. Before that, he served in various ministry roles in a part-time capacity. He has a passion for studying and teaching the Word of God and desires to instill in others the same love for scripture that he possesses.

Dave Flood, DMin (Ongoing)
Dave has been married for over 30 years and has three adult sons and eleven grandchildren. As the founder and president of a teen ministry, Dave has created an expanding outreach directed toward non-churched adolescents. For over twenty-five years, he has guided the mission to include a retreat camp, machine shop, recording studio, concert venue, and recreational arena. The ministry now serves as a training facility in relational evangelism and discipleship. Dave received his B.A. from Moody Bible University in Chicago and his M.A. from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is currently working toward his DMin.
Christina Joy Hommes, MA
Christina is a joyful servant of Jesus Christ who loves to learn and help others discover how the Bible guides our daily lives. She is the author of various tools that help Christians live and share their faith, including several Bible studies and a gospel booklet. She earned her M.A. in Biblical Studies and enjoys learning about many things, including the Lord, history, communication, and leadership. Christina enjoys teaching Internet communication and helping students develop their confidence and Abilities as effective online communicators so that they can impact the world for Jesus Christ.
Pastor Stephen Hill, MDiv
Stephen is a native Texan and has been married to his high school sweetheart for over 28 years. He has been involved in Christian ministry for over 16 years in Texas and various places worldwide. He is currently a church planter and has been a Senior Pastor at two churches, along with being a missions pastor at another. He has led 20 foreign mission trips and has had the privilege of being a John Maxwell Associate Leadership Trainer, coach, and mentor for pastors and church planters in North America and various places overseas. He currently holds two master’s degrees, a Master of Divinity and a Master of Leadership. He has also had the privilege of serving in the United States Air Force and is a veteran of the Desert Storm War. He believes that God has called Christians into a sacred position as one of His leaders and is passionate about preparing students to press into the great things God wants to do in them and through them.
Pastor Tony Chimento, DMin.
Tony Chimento has been working in full-time ministry for over 20 years in various capacities and is currently the executive pastor at a church in Round Rock, TX. He received his Bachelor’s degree in theology from Evangelical Theological Seminary in Dixon, Missouri, and a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Master’s International School of Divinity in Evansville, Indiana. He is currently in the process of earning a doctorate in Biblical Leadership. Tony is married with two grown children. He enjoys mentoring leaders and helping them become better equipped to fulfill God’s great call on their lives.

Valentine is an ordained minister with a master’s degree in Theology from Houston Graduate School of Theology in Houston, Texas. He is also an author and a former columnist with the Christian Herald in Houston, Texas.
Jennifer Smyer Dickey, MSW
Jennifer works as a full-time lecturer and the director of the Global Mission Leadership (GML) Initiative at the Baylor University School of Social Work. She lived in Northern Sudan for several years after her undergraduate graduation, using social work skills within a congregational context. She returned to the US and worked with Antioch Ministries International, the missions arm for Antioch Community Church, for several years as director of team training and oversight to international relief/development work post the Tsunami in Southeast Asia in 2004 and the Haitian Earthquake in 2009. After obtaining her Master’s in Social Work in 2008 from the Baylor School of Social Work, Dickey became the Director of GML in 2008 and received the first cohort of GML students into the MSW program in 2009. She continues to remain active in local church life, consulting with church congregations who are engaged in responding to the practical needs of persons both domestically and internationally.
Ellen Acha, RN
Ellen was born and raised in a family of five children in Cameroon, Africa. She relocated to the U.S. and currently works as a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 11 years of nursing experience. She is the wife of SU president Dr. Kenneth Acha, and together, they live in California with their three wonderful boys. She currently cares for patients full-time in a hospital setting.
