The Candidates We Seek
At SU, we are inspired by the idea that orphans and vulnerable children deserve the best care possible and are proud that SU is the first institution of higher learning in the world to offer college degrees and certificate programs aimed at bridging this unfair gap. We are inspired by the fact that many believers around the world desire to serve God as pastors, missionaries, and counselors and are excited to provide the training they need for God to use them fully. We are also inspired by the fact that Christians all over the world who are called to the workplace desire to grow in their ability to understand and apply God’s word, and have created a platform to serve them as well. We want teachers who are genuinely inspired and excited about these things.
We see teaching as worship and expect our professors, teaching assistants, and staff to genuinely love students and be servant-hearted, relationship-builders, and growth-minded people who go above and beyond the call of duty to help students grow and advance the purpose, mission, and vision of the Institution. Only people who are on fire for these things will thrive here. If you are not genuinely passionate about these things, please don’t apply. We mean that kindly because that will save time for you and for us. |
