Application Process

Admissions Deadlines

The Best Time to Apply

What is the best time to apply? The best time to apply is the first time you think about coming to SU. The second best time to apply is at least one month prior to the admissions deadline. Our admissions deadlines are recommended deadlines, not hard deadlines. Students can still apply to be admitted after these deadlines. However, we strongly encourage students to apply early.

For admissions deadlines, please see the academic calendar.

Step 1: Apply for Admissions

1. Fill out the Application Form

2. Pay the Application Fee

After completing your online application, you need to pay the $1 (one dollar) application fee.

3. Submit your Admissions Documents

After you’ve filled out the application form, you need to send your transcripts. Students can be fully accepted with unofficial transcripts, but official transcripts must be submitted within 3 months of acceptance.

You will submit your transcripts. To emphasize, unofficial transcripts are sufficient for admissions purposes. Simply email them to admissions@servantsuniversity.com

If you want to be considered for the Shaping Destiny Scholarship, then you need to submit a Personal Statement.

Step 2: Receive an Admissions Offer & Accept It

After we receive your application and transcripts, we will review your application package. Our admissions team will then reach an admissions decision. We will email you an offer of admission as soon as the decision is made. It usually takes about 3-5 business days to get an admissions decision once the application package is completed.

If offered admission, you will need to accept the offer of admission:

  1. If you are able to pay the recommended tuition and fees, you accept the offer of admission by paying the enrollment deposit.
  2. If you have been granted the Shaping Destiny Scholarship, then you need to make your best offering of any amount that will count as your first-semester offering.

A student is officially admitted when he/she has accepted the offer of admission through email and paid the necessary enrollment deposit or made their first-semester offering.

Step 3: Register for Classes

If you’ve been offered admission and have accepted it, congratulations! Welcome to SU! We’re excited to have you join us. Now it’s time to pick your classes. Review the Degree Completion Plan for your program and register for classes. If you have any questions, give us a call and we will gladly walk you through the process.

Step 4: Pay Tuition & Fees (If Not on Scholarship)

For students who are not on the Shaping Destiny Scholarship, paying tuition and fees is the last step before you start classes. It is how you complete registration. Completing the financial process helps you lock in your courses and get the best payment plan available for your situation.

Your education is a tremendously important investment and SU is committed to helping work with students to help them afford it. It starts with our very low tuition rates. Students who can’t afford those low tuition rates should consider applying for the Shaping Destiny Scholarship.

If you can pay the recommended tuition and fees but would like to do so on a payment plan, please let us know.

Step 5: Start Classes

After you’ve gone through the preceding steps, you are ready to start taking classes. You will be given access to our online learning platform, where you will complete orientation and find a list of resources you need to buy for each of your classes.

Your professor(s) will contact you shortly before your courses begin to make sure you have your required resources and are prepared for your course(s).
